Handmade in France, this new, pink solid cocoa butter lotion is made with nothing but 100% naturally derived ingredients and carries the Cosmos Organic label. Even its delicate fragrance, with notes of iris and tonka bean, is naturally derived. 🙂

This new version was designed to stand up to the heat. It will melt on contact with your skin, but it won’t melt completely unless it reaches a temperature of 45°C. So you can use it all summer long!


Cocoa (Theobroma cacao) seed butter*: cocoa butter contains fatty acids that hydrate and nourish the skin. It also has film-forming properties and strengthens the skin’s natural barrier function.

Carnuba (Copernicia cerifera) cera*: carnauba wax is used for its film-forming properties, so it helps to maintain skin hydration. It also gives our new cocoa butter a harder consistency and makes it more heat resistant, so it can be used in summer.

Tocopherol from sunflower (Helianthus anuus)seed oil**: plant-derived antioxidant (vitamin E), prevents vegetable oils from going rancid, contained in sunflower oil.

Fragrance**: a delicious scent that’s perfect for pampering moments.

CI77007**: mineral-based pigment.

Use this pink solid cocoa butter lotion in the same way as our original version. Gently rub it over the part of your body you want to nourish. Within a few seconds, it will transform into a fine oily film, which you can apply just like a cream.

Our cocoa butter is a multi-purpose product – and that’s another reason why we love it so much! You can use it as a facial oil, body butter, or as a massage oil.

In summer, this cocoa butter will melt when you rub it over your skin, but it won’t melt completely unless exposed to temperatures above 45°C.

By using solid cocoa butter, you’ll avoid using countless jars and bottles of creams and lotions! All the ingredients are 100% naturally derived and the box is made from 100% recyclable card.

Is your cocoa butter refined?

We only deodorize the cocoa butter. This is part of the refining process, but only a small part, as there are several different steps involved in refining cocoa butter. You could say that it’s been physically refined, but it has not been chemically refined.

Can the cocoa butter be applied to the breasts if you’re breastfeeding, and are there any precautions I should take about using this product when breastfeeding?

There aren’t any contraindications. However, as a precautionary measure, we recommend that you don’t apply the cocoa butter close to feeding times. For example, you could apply it just after feeding, to ensure that your baby won’t ingest any.

How should I store it?

Keep it in a clean dry place or store in a Lamazuna jar

Can this be used during pregnancy?

Absolutely! Our cocoa butter doesn’t contain essential oils, so it’s perfectly safe for pregnant women. In fact, we encourage it for the prevention of stretch marks!

Can the pink cocoa butter be used on the hair?

Yes ! You can use our pink cocoa butter on the tips of your hair. 🙂

If you’re using the pink cocoa butter, we recommend that you begin by rubbing it between your hands to melt it. This will make it easier to apply it to your hair.

The surface of my cocoa butter is uneven and mottled.

Sometimes, our cocoa butter may have a slightly mottled surface, but it’s absolutely nothing to worry about! This is a natural result of making the product by hand and, in particular, the cooling stage.

The butter is made with cocoa butter and carnauba wax, and both of these ingredients are heated so they can go from a solid to a liquid state. The mottled effect occurs because the two ingredients do not cool at the same rate. It can be more or less pronounced, but it does not impact the characteristics of the product in any way.

We’ve added carnauba wax to make the cocoa butter more heat-resistant, so it won’t melt when your parcel is sent to you in the summer! However, please avoid placing it in direct sunlight, as it may start to melt if it’s exposed to extremely high temperatures!
